What is SEO?
Okay lets start at the beginning… SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation.
When I had my husband proof read my website, this was the first thing he asked so I’ve included it here.
It is the art and science of getting pages to rank higher in search engines such as Google. Because search is one of the main ways in which people discover content online, ranking higher in search engines can lead to an increase in traffic to a website.

How does Google work?
Basically, google randomly crawls your site content with its backend algorithms. When it crawls your site, it’s looking for keywords (amongst other things) that you use on your site to describe what you do and/or who you are. We ensure the right keywords are showing up for your business / key search criteria.

Do you share with me your plan for my SEO?
100%! After you engage us to undertake your SEO - we will share with you the keyword research we will implement on your site including the main keywords we plan on implementing across your site.

I heard Google doesn’t like Squarespace sites…
Well that’s simply not true. Search engines like Google don’t favour any website builder or content management system. The most important ranking factors in SEO are high-quality content, using keywords and backlinks.

How long does it take to see results?
It totally depends on the website - but as a general rule anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months!
It depends on long your website has been around, how much SEO has been done on it previously, what shape the website is in, how much traffic gets to the site as it stands, how much content is on the site.
No two websites are starting from the same place, even if they’re in the same industry and competing for the same customers. Once we speak to you and look at competition, we can get a better idea.
