
CHANGES TO OUR BILLING
We have changed the way we INVOICE UPDATES FOR clients
Ongoing clients that require updates to their website or new graphic design work will now be billed automatically upon approval and completion of the job.
This change is only reflected on ongoing clients.
All new clients will still receive a quote and invoice at the end of a completed job.
We still don’t bill for changes that take 15 minutes or less (as these changes are covered in our squarespace admin fee - see below), however anything over 15mins will now be automatically sent to you once your changes have been made and final approval given.
NEW // We also now accept payment via credit cards although this does incur a 2% fee if you wish to settle your invoice this way.
We appreciate your payment within our terms of 7 days and if you have any questions, please reach out.

A personalised domain is where your website can be found and is generally the name of your business. ie., www.sydneycafe.com.au
The below costs are for maintaining your domain, ensuring it never expires and gets bought by someone else.
Keep in mind, your domain might not always be available and if it's generic, there is a good chance it will always be taken..com.au // $65 per year - min. 2 yrs is required
.com // $65 per year - min. 1 yr is required
Please note, you may already have registered a domain elsewhere and you are welcome to keep it and manage it at your own domain registrar. Your website costs includes us linking your current domain to your new website, however please note we are not responsible for it’s yearly renewal.

Email hosting is optional with your domain, it allows you to use your domain to create an email address. ie., cathy@sydneycafe.com.auAlthough optional, we highly recommend it, as it gives you a professional point of contact.
Up to 3 emails addresses // $75 per year
4 - 10 emails addresses // $105 per year
10+ emails addresses // $145 per year -
Hosting starts at $16 per month ($192 per year) when billed annually - see here for more details.
Most of our clients call into the ‘personal’ category. If we use anything fancy on your site (like a booking app etc) we need to use special coding which Squarespace charges more for the ability to include this. This is usually $300 per year.
If you have a e-commerce site, we recommend going on the ecommerce plan which is $408 per year as there are no additional transaction fees from your sales (seperate to stripe/paypal fees).

We bill at $49 admin fee each year to manage your site.
We pay Squarespace on your behalf and ensure your website never expires by ensuring our billing details are always up to date.
The extra admin fee covers logging in for small changes (as we do not bill for things that take 15min or less), an overall management fee for managing your website on squarespace and our time in chasing late payments which have already been charged on our credit card and incurring interest.
You do have the option to not pay this admin fee, and we will happily hand over the website to yourself so you can add your billing details and manage the account yourself. Please let us know if this is something you would like to do.

We have also introduced late fees. For invoices more than 30 days overdue, a $10 monthly fee each month an invoice is not paid will be added to the outstanding invoice. We are sorry to introduce this fee but we pre pay hosting subscriptions and we are out of pocket for this payment until it is paid.
